Mid. 17th C. To Early 18th c. English Hudson Bay Co Style Brass Trade Pot Large

Offered is a nice English,"Hudson Bay Co."
type trade kettle with the hand forged iron rim (notstamped), probably traded/sold by the commerce vs the HBC trading posts. These kettles were manufactured together and the ones for the HBC were stamped and put in nests of kettles, but not all in the stacked nest were necessarily stamped-some were missed.There is one old lead repair area in
the bottom corner of this kettle. 17 1/2” dia x
